I wrote an IO abstraction library to make it easier to embed Applets in the book chapters without having a bunch of junk in the example code.

I think this is a Good Thing™, but as a result, the chapters so far are being rewritten to use it. So don't freak out if the SVN code doesn't match what is in the book for a little bit!
